A bombshell study from Environmental Health Perspectives recently confirmed what many experts feared: plastic cutting boards release invisible microplastic shards with every slice — up to 15mg per meal, according to USDA-backed research.

What’s more alarming? These microplastics don’t just disappear. They’ve been linked to:

Inflammation in the gut and bloodstream

Weakened immune function

Hormonal disruption

Long-term toxicity in organs like the liver, lungs, and heart

"The average family unknowingly consumes the equivalent of 10 credit cards worth of plastic per year.

Much of that is traced back to kitchenware like cutting boards." — [USDA Food Safety Brief]

I Tried The Top 5 Cutting Boards So You Don’t Have To, Here’s Why Apex Is #1:

First Impressions

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell the Apex Titanium Cutting Board was something premium. The packaging was clean and professional, and the board itself felt strong, smooth, and well-made. You can see and feel the quality right away.
Even before I used it, Apex already had a great reputation. It had some of the most positive reviews I’d seen—thousands of people praising how solid and useful it is for everyday cooking and even outdoor use.

This board was clearly made with a purpose: to give people a safer option that’s free of microplastics, while being tough enough for any kitchen job. After testing it myself, I was seriously impressed.

How It Performed in My Kitchen
I used one side of the board to cut raw chicken and the other for fresh vegetables. After washing it, there were no stains, smells, or scratches—just a clean, like-new surface.
The board didn’t slip around on the counter and didn’t dull my knife. Cutting felt smooth and easy.

The Bottom Line
If you want a cutting board that’s strong, safe, and easy to use, the Apex Titanium Cutting Board is a great pick. It’s reliable, high quality, and built to last—definitely worth it.

Finally found the real titanium chopping boards - 100% recommend
I’d bought a set of ‘titanium’ boards off Amazon a while back, but they were definitely just stainless steel. They were too heavy and scratched up really quickly.

Came across Apex and decided to try their boards instead, I could tell straight away it’s actual titanium. They’re smoother, way easier to clean, and noticeably lighter. I went for all 3 sizes and honestly use them every day now.
